Austar

Austar were seeking a new office for their National Call Centre, to provide 10,800m² of space catering for up to 1,500 staff. The building was to project a National statement for Austar, providing a rational yet flexible building to house the company’s growing needs whilst recognising realistic commercial budget controls. The resulting building achieves the required floor area over six storeys. The soft curves of the glazed façade and balconies mask the scale of the building’s massive 2,200m2 foot print and exposes all facades equally to the public view, reflecting the company values of transparency and the building’s use for customer-facing staff. The building is the third largest single-title commercial property on the Gold Coast. 35 Robina Town Centre Drive has a net lettable area of 9814sq m and 268 parking spaces across podium and basement levels.
