The Client identified the need for new public facilities to support this populate spot for families to visit.

This is a facility for people with high needs disabilities and provides facilities that allows families to spend a day at the beach, or in the park, without the stress and worry of having to travel to the facilities they need.

The design marries in with the other, existing facilities in the park.

We worked with the Client to select materials that worked in the harsh environment, the facility is located. Being located in the Surf Zone, coupled with being positioned in a public park, so vandalism had to be a consideration.
