HHH provided architecture, décor and lead consultant services to McDonalds on over 200 project commencing with the fit out within the new Paradise Centre in Surfers Paradise the project which was the catalyst for the firm in the early 890’s.  Projects varied from fit outs to extensions to remodelling , upgrades, décor, service station additions and the flagship restaurant at 1 Cavill Avenue opposite Paradise Centre. This was the first store in Australia to use the Golden Arches symbol alone as signage, it’s use without accompanying  McDonalds text required special approval from McDonalds International. HHH architects were the ‘GO TO” designers for Maccas on the Eastern side of Australia.  The introduction of McCafe in the mid 90’s provided HHH with numerous remodels as this innovation was rolled out across Australia generating 15% more revenue for the chain. By 2003 McCafe was the largest coffee shop brand in the Southern Hemisphere.
