Sails Port Macquarie
The 30 year old resort commenced major refurbishment works in 2013, with the first stage completed in 2014, and second stage scheduled for completion in 2017. The initial stage has seen 88 hotel rooms and suites, landscaping and poolside surrounds refurbished, and as of the end of 2016, the completion of a new wedding chapel as part of stage two; all with stunning results. The next stage involves the renovation of the public areas, arrival zone, courtyard and addition of conference spaces with river and marina views. The complete works have been planned in response to the resort’s objective to reposition its brand within the market to become the best resort and venue in the region and to improve connections to its stunning riverside setting.
